  Teads are looking for a Industry Director, Retail to join our growing Strategic Accounts team in our London office.   You will be responsible for forging partnerships and driving incremental revenue growth on key accounts across local markets.This role offers the opportunity to join an industry pioneer and leader in full funnel advertising solutions, and one that is experiencing rapid growth.   The Retail vertical is a critical growth lever and the Industry manager will be tasked with developing existing and new relationships and partnerships with the largest Retail clients. Retail is a broad category, encompassing but not limited to, department stores, grocery, direct to consumer and high street brands.   

Our advertising solutions are bought by many of the UK’s largest Retailers including Co-op, Aldi, Next, Primark, ASDA, Dixons, Specsavers, B&Q, McDonalds, Ikea and many others. And, we need you to add to these key strategic accounts with large retail brands in the UK

The Industry Director will report to the VP of Strategic Accounts Teads UK and work closely with local/global Industry Directors in key markets to manage and step change growth and senior level client relationships.

The Industry Director will also work very closely with the Agency Sales team to manage senior level agency relationships.

  ==== Responsibilities =====
  • You’ll have overall responsibility for delivery of numbers and be the expert across these Retail clients in local markets.
  • Ensure that the Client media team actively supports/endorses the use of Teads.
  • Build relations at the most senior level across all client departments ( Marketing, Insights, data).
  • Understand client objectives and Media needs, ways of working, and share this knowledge within Teads.
  • Develop best in class communication and decks tailored to client and their needs
  • Support the local markets to unlock opportunities by leveraging existing and proactive relationsship to help set up meetings, attend key local meetings as appropriate (min 2 per year).
  • Share best practice with teams.

==== Requirements =====
  • Strong understanding and background in Retail ( min 5 years experience ideally)
  • Ability to build relationships with top marketing/media decision makers
  • Proven experience in collaborative to build long term sustainable partnership growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of online video, display and performance 
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Ability to convert business from other media channels.
