About this role :

We are currently looking for a Junior Global Compensation & Benefits Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Compensation & Benefits function under People & Culture team for the next 12 months. We offer a very flexible hybrid setup with a role, being located in Amsterdam or Warsaw.

Our People & Culture team enables business growth by empowering employees and teams. People & Culture function helps GSG culture thrive under global initiatives. As a trusted partner, we drive the People journey and we aim to create rewarding memories for the GSG Community.

We are currently working on several exciting projects such as our grading system, the harmonisation of our benefits packages across our worldwide locations, compensation and rewards processes and many more. You will be part of a great growth journey to bring innovative approaches to our total rewards practices and support us implementing our own rewards concept from scratch while harmonising existing practices on a global level.

Responsibilities:

Amongst many exciting challenges, you will support the implementation of new compensation and benefits strategies, global policies and processes:

  • Benefits (70%)
    • Prepare overviews of our current Benefits policies across our locations and benchmark it against the market practices
    • Propose new benefits to implement with a review of the feasibility (cost analysis, checks with local stakeholder on the regulation)
    • Work on the implementation of those new benefits (timeframe and communication)
    • Simplify and automate existing processes for a smoother employee experience
  • Compensation (30%)
    • Benchmark our compensation against the market via the salary surveys (Comptryx, Aon Radford, Mercer TRS)
    • Review of the paybands
    • Help on the salary review process
Your Profile : 
  • University degree in a relevant field (HR, Business management, Data Analysis, Finance)
  • Experience with different models other than pay for performance is a plus
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Fluency in English. French or German would be a plus
