THE ROLE

Purpose:​

The role is being an integral day to day member of the Finance Business Partnering team and providing quality management accounting support to the Proposition / Contract management team whilst ensuring adherence to financial controls and company policies. ​

Specific duties

Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss accounts, balance sheet analysis, cash flow, variance analysis and commentary in line with FP&A deadlines and corporate ​
  • Monthly revenue recognition calculations and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts whilst ensure Accrued Revenue and Debtors balances are effectively analysed and reported​
  • Ensure the appropriate reporting of Projects revenue & support the Sales pipeline to assist with forecast​
  • Preparation of financial forecasts including P&L and working capital (cash in-flows) in line with FP&A deadlines and ​
  • Support the running of the budgeting and forecasting process at the proposition or contract level to ensure synergy at the company level​
  • Monthly reporting for local Contracts and Propositions in support of monthly Business Reviews​
  • Support maintenance of the Commercial Risk and Opportunities register for in year budget/forecast​
  • Provide meaningful budget versus actual & forecast revenue/cost comparison and explanation that assist decision making. This includes understanding and analysis of profit drivers such as staff utilisation, rate cards ​
  • Help ensure full compliance with Agilisys financial procedures & contractual requirements on commercial ​
  • Ad hoc analysis of financial information to support operational decisions and deal reviews​
  • Support finance interface for day-to-day finance and assist with commercial queries from clients and suppliers.​
  • Foster a collaborative approach by building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders, both within Agilisys and with external partners, to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional outcomes.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results while embracing change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Ideally +1 Year Qualified accountant (Exceptional P/Q and newly qualified)​
  • Experience in service-based industry preferred with exposure to outsourcing / professional services contracts​
  • Strong/Advanced Excel skills with experience in operating and extracting data from complex accounting systems​
  • Good team worker and ability to work on own initiative​
  • Analytical and able to handle detailed information as required with strong attention to detail​
  • Able to consistently deliver to tight deadlines with a getting it right first timemind set. ​
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organisation and to communicate financial concepts to non-accountants​
  • Willing to learn and develop.​
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
