We’re looking for a Marketing Associate to support in managing Hyperlocal marketing campaigns in the UK & ireland. This role will work with the rest of the UKI Marketing team and our external media and creative agencies to deliver the best media and creative strategy and campaigns that achieve our goals. You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager (Hyperlocal Media & Campaigns Lead) within the Hyperlocal marketing team at Deliveroo alongside another Marketing Associate. This is hybrid role based in the London office (3 days a week in office).

The Hyperlocal marketing team develops the strategy and execution of high-growth initiatives at a local and Hyperlocal level ensuring that our marketing strategies reflect the commercial needs and hyperlocal opportunities within each priority region. You will lead on the media and creative elements of the local campaigns, working hand in hand with the Local Activation team to ensure the strategy and objectives are being met throughout.

You will have a passion for all things media and creative and have experience solving business problems. You’ll be experienced in managing multiple team members and working in diverse teams. You'll be organised, proactive and able to ‘think big’ with an eye for detail.

What you’ll do

  • Campaign development: brief and lead the creative development of local campaigns using creative toolkits to support. Understand the messaging requirements of campaigns and how to land these relative to the marketing channel employed.
  • Project Management: you will lead the delivery of the campaigns, ensuring all assets are produced on time and to correct specs to fulfil the media plan.
  • Demonstrate media expertise: Manage our external media agency to plan and implement our media plans from end to end. Identify the most relevant channels and media mix to achieve hyperlocal objectives of creating growth and order volume. Lead the process from briefing, to reviewing strategies with team members and feeding back to the agency and finally approving the plans.
  • Demonstrate excellent team collaboration: Work as part of a team to deliver the best marketing planning and campaign management. You’ll work with teams across the business including performance marketing, CRM, PR, brand social to develop the optimum strategies and plans to guide relevance with our consumers.
  • Take an analytical approach: Work with our business insights and consumer insights teams to develop robust measurement and effectiveness evaluations of our campaign including spotting opportunities for Test & Learn.

Requirements

  • You will have 3 years of relevant experience
  • You're experienced at planning, prioritising and delivering simultaneous projects at once
  • Comfortable working with data to inform strategies and report on campaign performance
  • Track record in making things happen
  • You are full of great ideas and enjoy working as part of a team and individually
  • Passion for building relationships, with experience managing agencies and team members
