SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

You will be responsible for collaborating with existing partners and cultivating new relationships to design and implement customer-specific or industry-specific storage system solutions for cloud and hyperscale infrastructure.  

  • Partner Engagement:
    • Identify, onboard, and manage strategic partnerships to enhance Pure’s storage solutions portfolio for cloud and hyperscale markets.
    • Foster strong relationships with existing partners, understand their capabilities, and align them with our business objectives.
  • Solutions Development:
    • Collaborate with partners to create customer-specific storage solutions.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate various components into comprehensive and effective storage solutions. Manage partner contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal and operations teams.
  • Implementation and Performance Management
    • Manage the implementation of operational models, ensuring alignment with business goals and partner capabilities.
    • Regularly review and assess the performance of operational models, making improvements and optimizations as needed.
    • Coordinate cross-partner collaboration and execution of customer programs
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, partners and customers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
    • Conduct regular meetings with partners to ensure alignment on goals, objectives, and project timeline.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 3+ years of Partnership Management experience in related industry
  • An understanding of compute and/or storage hardware and software technologies deployments for data centers
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to dive deeply into both business and technical issues.
  • Be a motivated self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, not afraid to take initiative, manage multiple partners, creatively overcome obstacles and work under tight timeframes.
  • Strong decision making skills – able to identify key business issues and balance conflicting interests. 
  • Work cross-functionally across marketing, business, product, operations, legal and other parts of the organization to develop and execute business strategy.
  • Represent partners with internal organizations, including communication of partner needs, performance results and upcoming plans to team members and executive leadership.
  • Understand the technical and capability requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings.
  • Work experience at hyperscale and public cloud service providers or server and storage system vendors is a plus.
  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
  • You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

The annual base salary range is: $116,000 – $174000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
