As we continue to propel our 2023 growth initiatives, HackerRank is seeking a dynamic, data-driven Performance Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This role is pivotal in driving demand, engagement, and revenue through meticulous planning and execution of all our performance marketing strategies, with a sharp focus on optimization and scaling.

You will be working on:

Management of Display and Performance Advertising

  • Campaign Ownership: Direct the strategy, development, execution, and optimization of all performance and display advertising campaigns to drive lead acquisition and conversion.
  • Channel Expertise: Leverage deep expertise across various advertising channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) to ensure the campaigns are innovative and adhere to best practices.
  • Content Alignment: Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop ad content that is compelling and targeted to the specific audiences of each campaign.
  • Audience Targeting: Define and refine audience segments for each campaign to ensure that advertising content is highly relevant and effective.

Budget Oversight and Agency Partnership

  • Budget Management: Own the allocation, tracking, and optimization of the performance marketing budget, ensuring spends are effectively distributed across various channels and campaigns.
  • Agency Collaboration: Build and nurture relationships with our external agency partner, providing clear briefs, budget guidelines, and performance expectations.
  • Invoice Management: Scrutinize and approve agency invoices, ensuring accurate billing and adherence to budget allocations.
  • Performance Review: Conduct regular reviews with our agency partner, evaluating campaign performance, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Data-Driven Optimization and Insight Generation

  • Data Analysis: Deep-dive into performance data, employing analytical tools and techniques to draw insights and understand the impact of each paid media campaign.
  • Continuous Optimization: Use data insights to initiate campaign tweaks, ensuring each dollar spent is optimized for maximum impact and ROI.
  • Reporting & Insights: Generate clear and insightful reports that illuminate campaign performance, learning, and opportunities for all relevant stakeholders like CRO, Head of Demand Gen and Allied Revenue Leaders. 
  • Strategy Refinement: Translate data insights into actionable strategies, enhancing future campaign planning, targeting, and creative development.

Nurture Campaign Management

  • Develop, deploy, and optimize nurture sequences targeting different segments of our prospect database via email marketing to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with content and product marketing to ensure messaging alignment and consistency across nurture streams.

Newsletter Management

  • Own the end-to-end process of our monthly prospect newsletter, including content curation, segmentation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure the newsletter is a valuable engagement tool by analyzing performance and continuously iterating for improvement.
  • We are looking for:
    • Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in performance marketing, preferably within the B2B SaaS space.
    • Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision-making.
    • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with marketing technology applications such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Salesforce, Marketo, and analytical tools.
    • Strategic Thinker: The ability to develop strategic marketing plans and make informed decisions to improve campaign efficacy.
    • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and agency partners to drive performance and execute campaigns.
    • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to create compelling narratives and report on performance in a clear and effective manner.
    • Ability to juggle multiple timezones: We work both in IST and PT timezones and are looking for someone how can run meetings across both these timezones.
