The Strategic Sourcing team at Pinterest is a highly skilled and highly leveraged team which has an opportunity to make a significant impact to Pinterest’s success.  This role will be influential in helping to significantly reduce costs for the Marketing team as part of that larger opportunity.

What you’ll do:

• Works in conjunction with manager to support strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiate deals for Marketing to optimize purchasing value
• Develop RFP’s, drive bidding by obtaining quotes and negotiating where appropriate  
• Become a trusted advisor to stakeholders in Marketing where appropriate
• Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with key suppliers 
• Create long-term pricing models with measurable service level/performance criteria
• Develop sourcing insights, benchmark, and research market intelligence to stay current on industry trends 

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of strategic sourcing or purchasing experience with an emphasis on professional services
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Outstanding communication, strategy, and negotiating skills
• Exceptional analytical abilities
• Experience influencing sourcing strategies
• Entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative
• Engaging, team-player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledgeable in Oracle Purchasing, Contracts Management Systems, Supplier Management, or other related purchasing tools or efficiency tools
