YOUR MISSION

As an experienced Product Designer for the Glovo app you will be key to every project you work on with the different teams, as you will lead and influence product decisions, based on your knowledge of user experience supported with qualitative and quantitative insights, providing meaningful impact to our couriers and users at Glovo. You will work cross-functionally and iteratively, with multiple-teams and stakeholders, to mature concepts into product development ensuring the design intent is fully delivered. You will also contribute and effectively utilize our Design System, supporting other more junior peers doing so.

THE JOURNEY
  • Effective communicator: Proactively build strong relationships with cross-functional partners (including Product Management, UX Research, Content Designer, Data Science, Ops) to identify, prioritize, plan and execute efficient and engaging user experiences with high-impact.
  • Problem solver: Own and facilitate the entire design process from hypothesis to implementation and everything that entails, championing empathy for our couriers and letting their needs guide your solutions. You will also help set the agenda and tempo for more junior designers.
  • Critical thinker: Interpret and distill complex requirements and insights, facilitate collaborative workshops and use frameworks to produce multiple concepts and prototypes, testing them with our end users in order to fail fast and learn quickly which ways won’t work prior to product development.
  • Design master: Care deeply about your craft, helping develop design standards, documentation, and processes alongside your peers in order to enhance our design practices and raise the bar of everything we do.
  • UX advocate: Excite everyone about the work you and your team do, identifying opportunities to elevate the value of UX across the team and org.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Design role within a product-focussed environment.
  • You are more inclined towards a good UX design process than to flashy UI.
  • You have a strong stakeholder management experience.
  • You have a good understanding of qualitative and quantitative data, and how and when to use them.
  • You feel comfortable running user interviews and usability tests to validate your designs.
  • You are people-focused, with a collaborative design mentality.
  • You prioritize speed over perfection, keeping a good balance between UX and business.
  • You have communication skills to help facilitate the design process, run collaborative sessions with different stakeholders and pitch your ideas with confidence.
  • You have a strong understanding of user experience and interaction principles within the constraints of mobile devices, as well as across desktop environments.
  • You are proactive and capable of working autonomously in several teams at a time and strive for feedback and critique, seeking to continuously improve your knowledge and skills.
  • You have solid skills with design tools, such as Figma and other prototyping tools.

It’s a must to have:

  • A portfolio which demonstrates previous design experience, breadth and depth of design skills with case studies which illustrate challenges, methods, roles and outcomes.
  • Experience working in Product organizations in fast-paced environments.

Individuals representing diverse profiles, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas. Even if it seems you don't meet our musts don't let it stop you, we are all about finding the best talent out there! Skills can be learned, and embracing diversity is invaluable.

We believe driven talent deserves:

  • An enticing equity plan that lets you own a piece of the action.
  • Top-notch private health insurance to keep you at your peak.
  • Monthly Glovo credit to satisfy your cravings!
  • Cobee discounts on transportation, food, and even kindergarten expenses or office-based nursery
  • Discounted gym memberships to keep you energized.
  • The freedom to work from home two days a week, and the opportunity to work from anywhere for up to three weeks a year and personal days off.
  • Enhanced parental leave.
  • Online therapy and wellbeing benefits to ensure your mental well-being.

Here at Glovo, we thrive on diversity, we believe it enhances our teams, products, and culture. We know that the best ideas come from a mashup of brilliant diverse minds. This is why we are committed to providing equal opportunities to talent from all backgrounds - all genders, racial/diverse backgrounds, abilities, ages, sexual orientations and all other unique characteristics that make you YOU. We will encourage you to bring your authentic self to work, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels heard.
