Product Marketing Manager, Customer Identity Cloud

Position Description:

We are looking for someone to drive the business and go to market to support the rapid growth of Okta’s Customer Identity Cloud. This includes creating compelling messaging and positioning, launching new features, and partnering with corporate marketing to target the right buyers and influencers.

 Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement use case and product messaging and positioning for Okta’s Customer Identity Cloud; working cross-functionally to execute. 
  • Champion product positioning, strategic technology and channel partner engagement, developer engagement, validate market messaging and evangelize your product offerings both internally and externally.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the B2B identity market space, products, and service offerings, including overall value proposition, features, functionality, and the verticals and use cases where they are relevant.
  • Closely partner with product management to ensure we are delivering on end to end scenarios that meet customer needs and to execute well-received product/feature launches.
  • Deliver key messages that enable our marketing execution team and PR agencies to execute relevant digital and event-based campaigns and programs.
  • Lead customer advisory boards, user groups, and other customer engagements

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of product management, solutions marketing or product marketing experience for an enterprise-focused software, SaaS, or web services company.
  • Proven track record of marketing to a highly technical audience. You must be comfortable working with and marketing to technical buyers within enterprises.
  • Proven track record of creating product and/or solutions-specific messaging and content
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Project management skills, can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual OTE range for this position for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$105,000—$160,000 USD The OTE range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:$131,000—$180,000 USD
