We are a growing team looking for a Quality Manager in the  Service Quality department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Amsterdam or Moerdijk office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO …

As a Quality Manager, you’ll focus on strategic and operational priorities for a sennder regional offices. You will report to the General Manager, with a dotted reporting to the central Program Manager for Service Quality. Service Quality at sennder involves understanding, visibility, and communication of performance against customer expectations at each step from the order acceptance to complete load execution. The team aims to drive a proactive culture of quality and exceed service standards through evidence-based decision-making. You’ll improve the quality of data collection and reporting, thereby increasing internal, shipper, and carrier trust on key service quality metrics with a focus on your market while adopting a cohesive approach across markets.   • Monitor and improve important Service Quality Metrics and work with the Analytics team to ensure accuracy of data
  • Document the processes and ensure that local teams follow the operational requirements of shippers, and manage their security needs
  • Develop a local Shipper Quality Program and support the commercial teams in onboarding most quality-focused shippers
  • Manage the Carrier Quality Program and collect data from carriers to meet sensitive shippers’  requirements
  • Balance business continuity and compliance topics, while continuously improving tracking quantity and quality through collaboration with GPS  providers and carrier teams
  • Document and implement standard operational processes,  help train local teams, and introduce new tools or dashboards
  • Safeguard and manage ISO and quality-related licenses,  run internal audits, and ensure adherence to standard operational processes
  • Contribute to the quality product pipeline of features and technical debt from central and local perspective
  • Focus on L&D - training sennder, carrier & shipper POCs on quality (in sennder context)
  • Improve the quality of manual data input and oversee claims metrics to improve profitability

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …

  • At least 2+ years of central operational experience
  • At least 2+ years of experience working in road freight logistics, mobility, or related industries
  • Experience working in one of the BI tools (preferably Looker)
  • Experience with Quality / Quality Management Systems / ISO
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Python or exposure to SQL is a plus
  • Experience in defining solutions to complex topics with an equally data-driven and pragmatic approach
  • A clear and concise communicator who can quickly synthesize a lot of information, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights
  • Ability to analyze autonomously and translate them into actionable insights
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize, focus on what is important, and think about “what’s next”
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly and do them well
  • Ability to self-serve, investigate, and get the information we require as well as to work with remote teams
  • Experience working with MS Office skills or G-Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
