We are a growing team looking for a Project Manager in the Engineering Excellence department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Berlin/ Barcelona office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO …

As a Project Manager you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like to owning the end-to-end delivery of a strategic tech initiative that spans across multiple business areas/teams and involves numerous stakeholders. You’ll be collaborating closely with the Engg and Product teams to lead strategic initiatives.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL…

• Ensure project success by managing milestones, stakeholders, impediments, risks, and retrospectives
• You will assemble the appropriate team to efficiently make key decisions regarding project scope, timelines, and ownership.
• Provide structure and clarity in uncertain situations, while empowering teams with flexibility and direction
• Synchronize the interests of different stakeholders and Business Area, ensuring everyone is moving in the same direction and conflicts are resolved promptly.
• Help teams implement best practices to lead them toward self-organization and self-sufficiency, improving our delivery rate and quality
• Actively contribute to building a healthy product and engineering culture at sennder and encourage openness and transparency where we celebrate success, learn from failures, and promote experimentation and innovation.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …

• Proven track record in managing large-scale projects (10+ teams), preferably in the areas of software development or automation.
• Skilled in identifying key stakeholders for various decisions, and effectively escalating risks to senior management.
• Capable of aligning senior management expectations with team capacities to develop sophisticated but realistic quarterly roadmaps.
• Familiar with agile (software) development processes, including concepts like SAFE, and experienced in working with agile project management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Ideally, experienced in working in a startup/ scaleup environment, understanding the unique challenges and dynamics of fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings.
• Innovative and Goal-Oriented Problem Solver. Convinced that every problem has a solution, albeit some might be challenging. Filled with creative ideas, a passion for experimentation, and fearlessly challenges the status quo, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Have knowledge of GDPR regulations or prior experience working on a GDPR project
