We are actively seeking highly motivated engineers who excel in dynamic, small-team settings. You will get a chance to contribute to innovative product ideas that tackle challenges within massive-scale storage environments.We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Lead Quality Engineer to join our team. As the Lead Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through hands-on testing, test automation, and driving the development of testable software methodologies. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of quality within the team and driving the implementation of robust testing practices.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

• Working on designing tests / testing during the full lifecycle of application development
• Designing, developing and maintaining test sets and strategies to various products
• Collaborating with peers and stake-holders to identify requirements and take solutions from initial test design to full testing suite
• Working with Support and Escalation teams to help reproduce and root cause customer issues 
• Identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing.
• Continuously looking for test gaps, performing root cause analysis & close loop on customer found defects.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• 5+ years of software system testing experience, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of System testing using end-to-end Automation
• Hands on automation in Python, Java, Kotlin and/or similar languages
• Experience in qualifying enterprise products in cloud and container platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with VMware/Disaster recovery/Data protection.
• Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments.
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Natural curiosity with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment
• You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3+ days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

The annual base salary range is: $158,000 – $303,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
