The Partner & Alliance Team

We are looking for an Alliance Partner Manager to join our Solution Provider focused Partner & Alliance team.  Our Partner & Alliance team manages, supports, and drives initiatives with Okta’s partner ecosystem, delivering high value outcomes for both the partners and Okta.  Our Solution Provider team aligns to Okta partners with particular competency in finding and transacting Okta business, and may also have, or be building, competency in other high value motions such as advisory, delivery, and consulting services. 

The Alliance Partner Manager Opportunity

Reporting to the AVP Solution Providers and Partner Development, this role will manage the relationship with up to two Focus partners, driving initiatives to enable revenue growth and extend/enhance partner influence creating mutually beneficial outcomes. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Develop, align, and execute on Partner business plans for Focus partners.
  • Identify highest impact/growth motions within the six motions of value, driving targeted strategy/tactics to support (Find, Develop, Influence, Deliver, Manage, Transact)
  • Establish a meaningful cadence and management system to assess progress, learn, adapt, and execute.
  • Build strong cross functional relationships with Okta Sales, Service, Marketing and Enablement Teams.
  • Manage and report demand generation, enablement, pipeline, and business plan progress on a regular basis.
  • Communicate “state of the business”, plans, outcomes, and learnings.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 5 years minimum of channel and alliance experience. Preferably in SAAS and IAM space.
  • Strong ability to multitask, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Self starter who can build/develop strategy and execute without significant oversight
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of Technology Alliance Partner ecosystems with ability to articulate the value Technology Alliances represent. 
  • Track record of having and achieving quotas.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following! 

  • Prior experience managing large national partners
  • Working knowledge of Okta solutions and products

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual OTE range for this position for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$202,000—$336,000 USD
