For this role within our Global Partner Support organization, you will be part of a strategically focused team that closely partners with Tech and Operation teams to unlock business growth and cost savings for both Wayfair and our Partners. Your core focus will be to transform our processes and data analytics to solve some of the biggest supply chain problems, as well as take our organization’s maturity roadmap to the next level. We are looking for highly motivated and detailed-oriented individuals with a global mindset to help expand this space within the global supply chain industry.

Your Role and Expectations:

  • Partner cross-functionally on a global scale with analytics, operations and engineering teams to deliver on high priority initiatives, focused on leading the data driven solutions and process transformation work.
  • Build & operationalize data & process governance for the team, ensuring our operations are running smoothly, measurable, optimized, and meeting / exceeding supplier expectations
  • Build & maintain data source of truth and process maps that powers our performance management and process management
  • Help our team evolve our capabilities, focused on building standards, best practices, and training on emerging technologies
  • Perform deep-dive analysis on business impact, supplier/customer experience KPIs by leveraging the analytics to identify root causes behind performance issues and provide insights around major pain points
  • Lead highly cross-functional and complex projects in the supply chain integration space 
  • Communicate findings with a succinct point of view and utilize compelling visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Data Studio, Tableau, etc.) for both executive level as well as cross-functional team level stakeholder management; ensuring that the insights can be used to help drive the strategies to deliver business impact
  • Partner with business and engineering stakeholders at various levels to identify key factors and requirements for each project, secure the neccessary buy-in from leadership for project methodology, and build a 6-12 month roadmap with clear goals and milestones

What You'll Need 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain/Operations, Data Analytics, or Engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, analytics, retail, engineering, consulting, strategy or finance, with at least 2 years of experience in a program / project management role
  • Expertise with SQL based data query language and its dialects (GBQ, PostgreSQL, mySQL, etc.)
  • Expertise with data visualization (Google Data Studio, Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and proven experience building user friendly and easy to understand dashboards.
  • Experience working in a project management setting and demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders on multi-year transformation projects
  • Self-starter with a high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Advanced experience with Google or Microsoft Office tools is required

What Would be Preferred

  • Experience leading tech product release / deployments
  • Experience using Google Cloud Platform data applications, such as Dataform, ELT Preparation Tools, Dataplex, etc.
  • Experience with programming language such as Python and R
  • Experience building data warehouses & data layers in a structured and methodological approach
  • Data specific certification from accredited schools or organizations, especially from Google Career Certificates Program
  • Project or program management certifications
