About the role

Content designer, content strategist, UX writer... whatever title you're using, if you understand the power of words and have a strong user focus, we want you on our team.

We are seeking a maternity leave cover (FTC) to join us. You'll be part of the Experience team, reporting into the Design Manager. You'll be accountable for every word that appears in your product area and be the go-to person for creating strategic UX copy that's compelling, easy to understand and concise.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Working with product designers, product managers, researchers, legal, and product marketers to create a seamless user experience
  • Applying strong and consistent messaging and tone throughout the product and putting great copy at the heart of everything you design
  • Collaborating with content designers in other product areas to ensure consistency across all our products
  • Usability testing your work and rapidly iterating to ensure we're always using the right language at the right time
  • Working with localisation to get new designs localised for our international markets, and to audit and improve existing user interface copy
  • Working with engineers to understand how your content and designs can be implemented in the best possible way

 

Requirements

  • Experience working with a multidisciplinary team to create outstanding content across a variety of platforms and products
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and an ability to prioritise work across multiple teams
  • A track record in creating outstanding, impactful copy for user interfaces, especially mobile apps
  • Experience helping your colleagues understand the importance and value of great copy and can explain content design and processes clearly
