In order to accelerate the next phase of Teads’ development, we are committed to transforming the depth, scale and ambition of our partnerships with media agencies, expanding beyond the major holding companies. We are looking for a senior business development leader to join the team to shape and drive Teads’ strategic agency partnerships with independent agencies. 

Displaying a consultative style, candidates must be excellent communicators, experienced at operating to C-Level with agencies and advertisers, and able to earn trust with senior stakeholders across other Teads teams. In addition, candidates should be comfortable with complex data sets and have the ability to invent and simplify for customers.

Candidates should be self-motivated, happy to work autonomously and highly goal-oriented in order to contribute to our ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully create key partnerships with independent agencies to influence and motivate advertiser business strategies earning a place as a trusted advisor to our global agency partners to uncover and create a pipeline of strategic opportunities that ultimately influence and drive revenue
  • Utilize experience to generate thought leadership, drive new business and help increase existing direct revenue from our entire agency ecosystem; effectively present and communicate the Teads’ value proposition to key agency stakeholders
  • Drive contract negotiations with independent agencies including trading deals, overall endeavors and overseeing JBP execution plans
  • Partner with other agency team members to to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous feedback and upskilling
  • Sustain close communication and alignment with agencies and sales leadership to maximize client strategies and collaborate with field sales teams to introduce relationships at various agency levels to strategically and thoughtfully achieve revenue goals
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify new strategic, scalable programs and outreach opportunities specifically for agencies
  • Act as company spokesperson at key industry events and Teads’ events as a credible source of inventory in the marketplace
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of audience and data standard ad products, and effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients

Experience / Background:

  • 10+ years of digital, sales or account management experience, including 5+ years in Adtech, SaaS, media or programmatic sales previously leading a team or driving senior relationships
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales revenue targets, programmatic and platform sales experience a plus
  • A positive role model with excellent data, tech and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to successfully execute cross-team; commands respect internal/external stakeholders
  • Exceptional ability to analyze performance data and make compelling recommendations for internal strategy, as well as client buying and optimization recommendations
  • A track record developing and maintaining advertiser relationships and consistently meeting or exceeding quota. Experience with negotiating complex deals that meet strategic revenue goals
  • Resourceful and responsive to change – thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency and can adapt to ambiguous situations
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills; strong Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%

The base salary range is $190K-$225K; Salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this role. Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.
