You will be able to apply your programming skills towards building high throughput transactional services and highly performant web experiences. You’ll work in systems utilizing the latest technologies like Go, Node.js, Typescript, and React. We constantly explore new technologies and engineer better solutions for demanding business needs.

What You'll Do:

• Design, modify, implement & test software.
• Take ownership and responsibility of the work at hand and shepher code through to production.
• Work full-stack by implementing web services, APIs, and front-end apps to power Bankrate.com.
• Collaborate with product leaders, business stakeholders, scrum masters, and other developers to deliver a quality product.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to teammates to promote continuous growth and skill development

What We're Looking For:

• At least 5 years of full-stack software development experience
• Development experience using HTML, JavaScript & CSS
• Development experience in Typescript & Node.js,
• Development experience in React, Vue or similar modern client-side framework.
• Ability to work independently from a design specification.
• Development experience in a RDBMS like Postgres or MySQL
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, secure, and reusable solutions in public cloud environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead key team initiatives from start to finish by managing and improving the entire software development life cycle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines

Even Better:

• Experience with IaC tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform or Pulumi
• Experience with in-memory data stores such as Redis or Memcached
• Experience with monitoring and error reporting tools in front end applications
• Experience writing high quality documentation
• Experience with common authentication/authorization patterns

Compensation

• USA Compensation Range: $(100,000 - 160,000)* *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
