About our Growth Team:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us to define and deliver how we help our new customers get set up and start using Monzo. We aim to give new customers an onboarding journey that is so seamless that they choose Monzo to manage their day to day finances moving forward. As the product lead for early engagement, you will be responsible for sign up, onboarding and helping people experience value during their first month as a Monzo customer. 

The team is part of Monzo’s Growth Collective and directly contributes to the company’s goals for growth and engagement.

Your day-to-day   

  • Create and execute on strategies to increase sign ups and new customer engagement .
  • Create delightful experiences that solve user needs and pain points. You are a champion for our customers. 
  • Set clear goals and track progress against targets. 
  • Use a data-driven approach to identify opportunities and optimise customer engagement. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data, user research and marketing to identify and validate new opportunities. 
  • Communicate effectively. You get people inspired by the product vision and you share the right context with the right people at the right time. 
  • Lead planning process and associated roadmap prioritisation ensuring alignment within the team and with wider business goals and objectives. Work with cross-functional partners (engineering, design, data, user research and marketing) to ensure projects are delivered on time and as planned.

The interview process:

Our interview process involves 4 main stages: 

  • Recruit call 
  • Initial call with hiring manager: Helena Buhr, Senior Product Director
  • Experience Loop consisting of x3 interviews. This includes a Case Study, Project Walkthrough and a Values interview 
  • Final chat with our Chief Product Officer
