The Senior Manager of Brand Marketing works with the rest of the Brand Marketing team (and cross functionally across all of Vox Media) to develop, tell, and sell stories about Vox Media’s portfolio of editorial brands to advertisers.

Brand Marketing is the Marketing Team for every brand at Vox Media. We develop stories and we evangelize these stories to sales and the marketplace. Our goal is to create materials and narratives about Vox Media’s portfolio of brands that help drive revenue and results.

Vox Media’s Revenue organization handles advertising and marketing partnerships with brands and agencies, as well as lines of business in consumer revenue and commerce across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The role of the Senior Manager, Brand Marketingis to support the creation of edit-driven sales and marketing initiatives across Vox Media. A key-member of internal cross-team work, the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing supports the creation of stories about Vox Media brands that win the interest and confidence of advertisers. 

This position is aligned to one half of the Vox Media brands, and reports directly to the Director, Brand Marketing. Collaboration is at the core of this role as this individual will work closely with the rest of the brand marketing team, editorial network development, creative strategy, sales leadership, integrated marketing, media, audio, and insights.

This individual should be both strategic and creative, confident guiding design, intellectually curious, a digital native, a team player, a creative writer, and a passionate fan of our brands. 

WHO YOU ARE
  • Contribute to development, marketing, and packaging strategy for editorially driven ideas
  • Update Vox Media brands’ general presentations and other branding materials 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop insights
  • Compile and share marketplace analysis of competitor work
  • Multi Vox Media Brand Specific Focus
  • Contribute to client and agency call meetings
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • A presentation wizard. Strong Google Slides and Photoshop skills a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as design aesthetic

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.

Pay Range$90,000—$110,000 USD
