We are looking for a collaborative, strategic, and driven communicator to join our team as Senior Manager, Global PR & Communications. Responsibilities include shaping and scaling PR strategy and thought leadership in partnership with regional marketing and senior executives to drive awareness and understanding of the category and the company. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the company to execute our strategy globally and nurture Payoneer’s relationships with media, influencers, and other stakeholders, both directly and in partnership with our regional marketing teams.

 

We are looking for someone with a background in fintech, who’s curious, fast-paced, and a natural problem solver.  You’ll need to be a pro at public relations and corporate comms, with experience launching new ideas and keeping things fresh. 

 

What's the job?

  • Independently developing and writing compelling content in various formats including press releases, crisis communications plans, executive briefing materials, and other essential documents for corporate announcements including M&A, partnerships, and leadership changes. 
  • Driving go-to-market excellence through regional PR and corporate communications enablement, as well as developing and implementing standard operating procedures, core program objectives, KPIs, and activation plans for our Global Communications Hub.  
  • Leading the development of thought leadership content including data reports, whitepapers, articles, investor surveys, blogs, etc. to drive news media coverage and social engagement.
  • Working with the leadership team and subject matter experts to develop key narratives, metrics, and programs that elevate Payoneer’s reputation and industry positioning with a diverse audience, including customers, employees, investors, and partners.
  • Leading cross-functional rapid response teams focused on crisis communications to effectively manage reputational challenges, including writing reactive and proactive statements for media & frontline staff, coordinating with PR agencies & local teams, and monitoring media & social media channels.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of proactive external communications and media relations plans and strategies to support business goals.
  • Coordinating the activities of external public relations agency including holding QBRs with global and local agencies to ensure delivery against targets, quality standards, and budget.
  • Establishing meaningful and measurable objectives for communications programs that are aligned with business goals.

 

Does it sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in marketing, comms, or business administration
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in marketing, PR, and corporate comms roles within fintech
  • Fluent English language skills at a native speaker level
  • Demonstrated ability to write high quality communications assets, such as press releases, media statements, and briefing materials in English language
  • Strong understanding of PR and corporate comms best practices and trends
  • Demonstrated experience driving go-to-market excellence
  • Experience managing regional agencies and SharePoint sites
  • Experience measuring and refining programs to increase brand awareness
  • Confidence with the ability to partner and influence across departments
  • Exceptional communication skills in English (oral, written, and presentation)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of social media platforms and digital strategies
  • Ability to work under tight timelines
  • Proven strategic planning, media relations, and crisis management skills
  • Commitment to handling confidential information with sensitivity, integrity, and discretion
  • Strategic thinker who can make recommendations based on available data and best practices

 

Not a must but a great advantage:

  • Strong media relations with leading business media in UK or US (or both)
  • Experience in data analysis, measuring, and reporting ROI
  • Experience working for global public company
  • Experience with SMBs and/or payments industry
