SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

The Marketo Solutions Architect willwork closely with internal stakeholders and a global Marketing Operations team to understand business goals, marketing strategies, and technical requirements to design customized solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Marketo platform.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Develop and own a global Marketo Solutions Architecture strategy and roadmap
  • Configure and optimize the marketing automation platform to effectively deliver Marketing business needs, such as new Marketing technology integrations
  • Intake requirements as it relates to marketing contact data strategy, demand funnel management, email campaign operations, and BI, as it relates to items like business rules, scoring, multi-touch nurture, profiling, segmentation, workflows, and reporting
  • Provide requirements and collaborate with IT for system implementation and troubleshooting support (eg: Managing and setting up Integration programs/workflows in MAP with CRM, 3rd Party APIs)
  • Work with IT to implement campaign hierarchy requirements
  • Advise on best practices with regard to marketing automation capabilities, testing, and results.
  • Create documentation for all marketing automation-related processes, programs and procedures, as well as ongoing governance (eg: database compliance). 
  • Monitor industry advances and innovation in marketing automation and analytics to ensure we are continuing to evolve and optimize our approach.
  • Work with IT for escalations and outages/issues, perform RCA and implement processes to avoid future issues.
  • Understanding of marketing data and regional privacy regulations
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by conceptualizing new programs & initiatives
  • Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between Marketo and these systems to enable cohesive marketing workflows and reporting.
  • Manage a team of 3 stellar Marketo automation senior specialists

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE

  • This role will need the Marketo expertise to understand the MarTech business landscape, and will need experience working in complex business areas to manage large implementations & complex programs. Must be a problem solver, growth mindset, and critical thinking skills, and ready to dive into the details, while assessing business impact and prioritizing accordingly.
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 10+ years experience in marketing automation and CRM
  • Strong communication and management experience
  • Strong knowledge of building and maintaining optimized marketing databases and data management practices
  • Experience with large-scale, full-life cycle implementations Marketing Automation solutions, including ownership of the technical solution.
  • Experience in B2B tech marketing, marketing operations, or demand generation
  • Must be able to perform responsibilities as it relates to the Marketo Engage Architect certification
  • Knowledgeable about Marketo best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies related to marketing automation.
  • Up-to-date about Marketo platform updates, best practices, and industry trends to ensure optimal use of the platform.
  • SFDC trained, certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of buying groups 
  • Experience in working with AEM desired
  • Agile experience desired
  • The annual base salary range is: $154,000 - $232,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
  • This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
