The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a 'Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations - Flights Supply'. This role is pivotal, and the cornerstone of everything we do: you will lead the conception and go-to-market of our flights supply strategy, working closely with Supply leadership to drive business growth and expansion, and in doing so, present your findings to Agoda’s C-suite. You will be focusing on leading and contributing to a select number of projects, collaborating with a wide range of senior stakeholders across multiple departments in the organization such as product, supply, marketing, finance, and customer service. Your role will involve developing outstanding insights on our markets, competitors, and business trends and disseminating this knowledge across Agoda to inform key decisions. You will play a critical role in helping our leaders grow Agoda Flights, and contribute to taking this business from being a new vertical to becoming the core of our day to day at Agoda.
In this role, you will get to:
Strategy Development:
- Collaborate closely with senior management to design and implement the strategy for flights supply, focusing on driving business growth and expansion.
- Conduct thorough analyses to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Translate data insights into compelling narratives and business cases, and present findings to senior leadership in a clear and impactful manner.
Go to market:
- Lead the execution of the flights supply strategy, going beyond sharing recommendation to ensure timely and qualitative execution across departments.
- Manage projects, create roadmaps, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful implementation.
- Identify and implement initiatives that drive efficiency, developing new tools that contribute to greater productivity and efficiency of our teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the central point of contact between supply, operations, analytics, product, finance teams at Agoda and other brands of Booking Holdings.
- Identify the needs of the supply team and translate them into actionable initiatives, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams.
- Build relationships with Country Directors, and develop in-depth knowledge of the market context in which they operate in and their strategy.
- Lead special projects involving multiple stakeholders across the organization, ensuring successful collaboration and project delivery.
Performance management
- Define the OKRs and KPIs of Flights Supply in accordance with the strategy designed.
- Help shape and drive internal performance analysis to reach set objectives.
What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- 6-8 years of consulting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive business growth.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to learn fast and understand new business dynamics.
