We’re looking for a Senior Partner Development Manager to be responsible for identifying, sourcing, evaluating and negotiating new partnerships agreements that accelerates Hootsuite’s growth and expands our platform capabilities. These partnerships can include and are not limited to emerging and new social networks, core platform integrations and channel sales partners. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both strategic planning and tactical execution. The successful candidate will be a dynamic multi-tasker who loves building and is able to maximize new partnerships by aligning product integration, Go-To-Market, and sales activities to Hootsuite’s Corporate Strategy and Growth Agenda. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead the end to end development of new channel and integration partners that will support Hootsutie’s OKRs and drives acceleration of revenue and customer count 
  • This includes analyzing the SMMS industry and space, assessing customer demand/complimentary tech stacks, identifying target companies, initial outreach, conducting discovery, opportunity sizing, and executing commercial agreements
  • Create proposals and holistic partnership maps and value propositions that recruit leading players in the ecosystem to partner with Hootsuite. 
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of active opportunities that you track and report up to to senior leadership on a regular basis; this includes leveraging CRM and other partner/pipeline management tools to develop and maintain a robust pipeline of partnership targets 
  • Create a playbook for partner development including but not limited to best in class processes for partner evaluation, optimal onboarding, launch experience and measuring success 
  • Lead complex negotiations of LOIs and commercial agreements 
  • Drive and program manage all aspects of partner development; working closely with cross functional teams including Product, Engineering, Ecosystem, Legal, Finance, Sales and Marketing on all partner development streams (product, GTM, sales, etc).
  • Build, execute, strategize, and track joint partner plans to maximize sales & total partner revenue via referral and/or reseller partner agreements 
  • Be the subject matter expert on all things related to prospective partners, staying up to date on the latest social media, digital marketing trends and competitive landscape to inform partner development strategy and pipeline 
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management   

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Business, or a similar field
  • Broad and varied experience in a mix of sales, channel or partnerships, venture capital, consulting, investment banking or corporate or business development roles
  • A proven history of recruiting and motivating partners with industry leading technologies.
  • Ability to influence management and Hootsuite Leadership Team decisions and gain buy-in from key stakeholders on your partner strategy

Canada Pay Range For This Role$116,100—$162,700 CADUS Pay Range For This Role$125,300—$175,500 USD
