ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Senior People Partner will ensure compliance with all the usual HR protocols, you will also provide a comprehensive, proactive and efficient HR service by providing information, guidance and coaching to employees and managers across all employment-related matters, in support of the HR and business strategy, working across all brands within the Inside Ideas Group.  Working alongside the Senior People Partners, you will also support the rollout of key People initiatives to help deliver the People strategy.

This role will be a hybrid role and expected to be in supporting our onsite teams, varied, fast paced and requires someone who can think on their feet, be proactive, be agile and hungry to learn and succeed.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

The team's activities are varied, and you will need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get involved in everything from a HR generalist perspective. The main day to day tasks includes, but are not limited to: 

  • Supporting Regional Managing Director(s) and/or CEO’s and their Business Unit on delivering the People strategy within their area
  • Strong understanding and experience in mapping and executing complex incoming and outgoing employment processes, like TUPE in the UK with multiple incumbents
  • Strong understanding and experience in managing and advising on all risks in relation to complex employment relation and discrimination cases
  • Experience in negotiating settlement agreements to reach commercially sensitive resolutions
  • Monitor our quarterly Peakon employee feedback and work closely with your stakeholders to drive engagement, development and support
  • Ensure our DE&I Objectives are embedded in all HR practices
  • Experience in managing and developing junior HR practitioners on how to apply HR processes in our business
  • Expectation to ensure any appealed ER issues are not upheld due to a poor HR process
  • Build and maintain an excellent knowledge of employees, objectives and business processes Coaching and supporting managers on staffing issues in the areas of performance management, sickness, absence, conduct and capability.; escalating to the People Director when appropriate
  • Support the annual salary review process; advising on benchmark and appropriate recommendations with a fair and equitable lense
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of UK employment law to ensure advice given is current and accurate
  • Actively identify gaps, propose and implement changes to process and procedure to ensure fairness and equity
  • Support the People Director with any ad-hoc projects or assignments

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

We are open to different levels of experience but would like to see some of the below

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of working as an HR generalist
  • Experience of dealing with the end to end process for employee relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, etc.
  • Experience of providing an effective HR service with up to date knowledge of current legislation
  • Proactive in your approach to improving and providing effective and efficient support of all HR activities
  • Strong attention to detail under pressure & working with high volumes, with the ability to manage a number of tasks simultaneously.
  • High levels of tenacity & a delivery focused approach
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations, push back, ask questions & comfortable in environments of change
  • Highly organised with a natural ability to prioritise
  • Excellent attention to detail
