The Senior Program Manager (Field Programs) will be responsible for strategic programs within the Customer Success Organisation, spanning strategy, people, process, and technology. In the immediate term, that will include programs focused on our forecasting methodology, strategic programs that span multiple cross-functional teams, and operating manuals for the multiple roles within our organization. 

In partnership with the Customer Success leadership team, and our Operations team, the successful candidate will shape the long-term strategy, vision, and execution of our field programs. As our organization grows in size and scope, the focus of this role will adapt and evolve accordingly. 

The ideal candidate has deep experience in Customer Success, Operations, Program Management, and cross-functional relationship-building. In this high exposure role; you need to be comfortable and confident in engaging executive-level stakeholders. In addition, you need to be comfortable engaging cross-functional leadership (e.g. Sales, Operations, post and pre-sales supporting functions) and helping connect the distinct prioritize and requests of different verticals. Due to the evolving nature of the business, you must be comfortable with shifting priorities and be confident using your initiative and best judgement to inform your roadmap. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for building and driving large-scale field programs end to end
  • Directly responsible for leading the cross-functional support and resources needed to accomplish your goals
  • Seamlessly prioritise various projects and leverage data to guide/support strategy and decision
  • Design a quarterly roadmap with the key milestones and releases to ensure these field programs are meeting the needs of the organization
  • Throughout the lifecycle of these programs, identify and execute initiatives designed to optimize and iterate based on real-time learnings
  • Develop governance processes to align field programs to the broader go-to-market organization
  • Continuously evaluate and measure programs against established targets for ongoing improvement and development 
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the broader go-to-market organization

 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Proven program management skills, including the ability to lead the development, documentation, and execution of large-scale programs
  • Experience developing large-scale transformational programs, including objectives and key metrics upon which a project will be evaluated and tracked for progress
  • Ability to identify trends through data analysis and/or create and test hypotheses via intentional experimentation, synthesize findings, and iterate as quickly as necessary
  • Self-starter who takes initiative for proactively supporting both strategy and tactical execution plans with high attention to detail and delivery excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective listening written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence and align priorities
  • Outstanding collaboration skills with the desire and patience to work cross-functionally with a diverse global team to establish and meet shared organisational goals
  • Ability to remain calm and focused when handling multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment while still meeting deadlines with ease and accuracy

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$78,000—$154,000 USD
