POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Develop highly scalable API and work on full-stack projects;
• responsible for reviewing the code in TripAdvisor Advertising and Partnership Solutions projects;
• integrate AWS services into TripAdvisor micro-service architecture, implement 3rd Party APIs and build out data pipelines; operate across our technology stack in Java, React, SQL and more;
• Take responsibility for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, QA and maintenance.
• Telecommuting permitted up to 100% Travel permitted up to 5%.

REQUIREMENTS:

• The position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field plus 84 months of post-baccalaureate work experience.
• Position also requires demonstrable experience with each of the following:
• Large scale, full life cycle development;
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and React.js;
• Building microservices using Java;
• Building data pipelines using Hadoop/Hive, Snowflake, and SQL;
• Demonstrable foundation in data structure, algorithms, software architectural patterns, and relational databases;
• Definition, implementation, and rollout of significant architectural changes on high volume websites;
• API design including GraphQL or REST;
• Integrating systems using APIs;
• Analyzing and improving site performance and resource utilization across the full stack;
•  Telecommuting permitted up to 100% Travel permitted up to 5%
