Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Supply Planner at our facility in Plantation, Florida, to own end-to-end planning and execution of inventory, purchasing through FC fulfillment.

What You’ll Do: 

• Analyze key metrics including vendor fill rate, lead time variability and FC inbound capacity to maintain Chewy’s best in class in-stock rates and inventory turns.
• Quickly identify and communicate current and future inventory issues, as well as developing sound recovery plans.
• Participate in cross-functional manufacturer and vendor reviews, driving vendor operational improvement.
• Participate in innovative, metric driven processes and projects to achieve supply chain excellence.
• Telecommuting permitted.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of experience.
• Will accept Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
• Experience must include 3 years in the following: relevant experience in Supply Chain, Merchandising, Business, eCommerce, Technology, Finance, Product Management, Category Management, Consulting;
• Microsoft Excel, SQL;
• ERP & Planning software;
• Understanding of Inventory management concepts – including ordering of product, understanding demand forecasts, developing buy strategies, and managing inventory metrics (turn, ending inventory, out of stock rate, fill rates, etc);
• Analytical aptitude to digest large data sets and bring forward recommendations;
• run optimization models;
• knowledge with productivity software such as MS Excel, Database tools (SQL, Access, etc.); and
• business intelligence programs (Tableau).
