We’re looking for a Project Manager to join the Business Systems & IT PMO at Fastly. Your objective in this role will be to identify, prioritize, and successfully execute a portfolio of internal initiatives and projects that are aligned with Fastly’s strategic goals. If you have strong experience successfully delivering internal business systems and IT projects, while also providing assistance, training, and guidance on process, tools and templates, this may be your ideal job. You have mastered best practices and can bring that knowledge and those skills to every project. If you are a natural influencer and are super organized, with a passion for getting stuff done, you’re definitely the person we’re looking for. This role will be based in our  Denver or San Francisco office.

What You'll Do:

  • You will manage and lead the execution of complex, cross-functional internal projects and initiatives, owning all aspects of project planning, tracking, and communications 
  • You will define project plans, goals, and scope; identify resources, and determine key milestones and dependencies to create the project schedule 
  • You will identify potential roadblocks and quickly pivot to mitigate both risks and issues by creating  contingency plans, and managing escalations
  • You will generate critical inputs required to support the overall portfolio roadmap and esure  informed prioritization of projects

What We're Looking For: 

  • You have at least 5 years experience managing technical projects in a high-tech, high-growth environment
  • Most of your career has been focused on managing internal technical projects
  • Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) and excellent knowledge of standard project management concepts, methodologies, and best practices
  • You definitely have experience with Salesforce CPQ, NetSuite, Smartsheet, and Jira or similar CRM, ERP, and PPM tools with a strong understanding of order to cash business process

We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these: 

  • Experience defining and optimizing business processes, including adapting processes to fit specific organizational context and culture 
  • Demonstrable experience of driving change and improving collaboration
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)Certification

Work Hours: 

  • This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home. 

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary: 

The estimated salary range for this position is $129,470 to $179,820.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
