About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager with a passion for leading cross-functional teams, organizing information, and solving problems. You will report into the Program Management organization and will work with several teams across the business to support Service Monetization initiatives. You have a software program management background, specifically in the payments and subscriptions realm. We are looking for someone with experience driving delivery teams responsible for first and third-party payments services and for launching subscription services internationally.

  • Promote and evolve our processes to enable closer synchronization between Program Management, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Development Operations, and Product Design
  • Lead planning and execution of high-impact programs and teams
  • Build, lead, and supervise progress on release plans across multiple engineering initiatives
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, remove blockers, advance progress, and seek leadership support early and soon
  • Anticipate and mitigate team and program risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to supervise dependencies, plan releases, and resolve blocking issues
  • Communicate the team's program and initiative status to management
  • Fulfill scrum master role on multiple teams

About You
  • 5+ years experience working as a Technical Program Manager within software development delivery teams building subscriptions and payments (first and third party) services platforms
  • Experience leading complex programs that deliver technical solutions across multiple project teams
  • Familiarity with code design principles, testing principles and standard methodologies
  • Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks
  • Take an active role in leading and encouraging innovation in the payments and subscriptions space
  • Experience working with multiple external vendors in the subscriptions and payments industry
  • Collaborate to define both short-term and long-term technical strategies for your teams
  • Understanding of software development processes and knowledge of the Agile SDLC process
  • Managing all aspects of technical projects -- including timeline, scope, and resource allocation -- and ensuring on-time, high-quality product delivery
  • Create capacity plans, track utilization of project resources, and manage this against the resource allocation and budget
  • Collaborate with multiple team members to define outcomes, create plans, qualify success, mitigate risks, and communicate
  • Experience designing process changes that influence the wider organization
  • Mastery in project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Google Sheets, Slides, etc.).
About the Team

The Service Monetization teams build and maintain mission-critical systems that power our global payments and recurring subscription services, handling tens of millions of transactions flowing through our platform every month. Our daily work includes payment provider integrations (Stripe, iTunes App Store, Google Play, Roku, etc), fraud detection, and PCI compliance maintenance, in addition to marketing initiatives (promotional coupons and gift access) and assisting growth opportunities (analytics and reporting).

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
