You'll be part of a wider team that builds, manages and maintains the systems that our people and customers use.  We strive to make these simple and efficient, constantly adapting on our journey to a zero carbon world.  We work right across the OVO organisation. 

 

This role in a nutshell:

You'll be the technical design authority on configuration and upgrade decisions across the Genesys WFM, QStory, Workday integrations and Centrical systems. You'll influence the CCE product roadmap based on operational and tech priorities and requirements. You'll create, maintain and align database structures and business rules within the business planning and engagement platforms (currently Genesys WFM, Qstory,  Centrical and Workday).  You'll work closely with Product teams and Workday projects to drive further integration between these systems and other platforms, such as OVO Learn and Qualtrix. You'll work across the with operation, identifying the benefits of such integration work and measuring the impact of change. You'll become the domain expert on new feature releases for each product.

 

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Finding opportunities for improvement and efficiency and driving best in class people experiences 
  • Creating new colleague journeys in relevant platforms. Drive requirements, size workload and aid prioritisation conversations
  • Investigating operational needs, resolves problems and contributes to a continual improvement culture. 
  • Continuously developing in role to enable full knowledge of Centrical,  WFM, Qstory, Workday and OVO Learn and their capabilities
  • Cross departmental management, ensuring all relevant teams are brought together to solve issues working relevant JIRA tickets to resolution
  • Creating and maintaining feedback loops with and WFM, Operations,  Coaching and Learning teams to ensure up and downstream processes are aligned and supportive of functional requirements
  • Collaborating with the Genesys Partners, Workday and Centrical technical teams on systems changes and updates ensuring integrated systems are tested and functioning as intended
  • Ensuring all business needs are met/enhanced by enhancing features of the existing technology stack.
  • Leading collaboration across all changes and projects

Within your first 6 months month you’ll:

  • Have built collaborative and engaging routines and relationships with key team members (primarily middle management) to offer technical solutions to operational challenges
  • Have supported our wider Operational support team to adopt more functions with Genesys WFM and QStory
  • Be known in your business area and by key collaborators as the expert in your field
  • Creating and implementing test plans for changes to software and processes including peer review checks on colleagues work
  • Supported the increase in automated processes across our people systems to make life easier for our colleagues
  • Be able to support your team manager whilst they are absent and in developing peers in new system features

You’ll be successful in this role at OVO if you…

  • Have proven experience of leading within a contact systems workforce management or optimisation role
  • Have proven experience of working in a numbers orientated, analytical role.  
  • Have a strong work ethic with a high degree of energy, drive and enthusiasm
  • Enjoy fixing issues, problem solving and action planning
  • Are happy working with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment
  • Are highly personable, with the ability to effectively manage difficult situations
  • Respond quickly and thoughtfully in a fast-paced environment, making accurate decisions under pressure
  • Are a good communicator and presenter at all levels and able to build effective relationships quickly
  • Are inquisitive and ambitious, always looking to improve performance
  • Are self-motivated, target driven and can make decisions that impact on performance
  • Are comfortable working in an Agile approach methodology
  • Have solid understanding of Genesys WFM and QStory architect processes
  • Are comfortable at juggling multiple things at once! There will be a lot of variety; you’re able to keep on top of it all and are prompt in delivery.

We’ll pay you between £40,000 and £50,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, let us know!
