YOUR CHALLENGE

As our Social Media Strategist & Manager, you will be responsible for our Social Media strategy for all our channels.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibilities: As our Social Media Strategist, your day-to-day tasks include managing the calendar and operations of our social channels -Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok - including content briefings, production and project management, planning, posting, and occasionally, content creation. It’s your responsibility to guide our cross-functional content and social teams in the ideation and creation of dynamic, brand-oriented, social-first campaigns, as you take the lead in growing and building our social presence and engaging with our community
  • Strategy: You will build, refine, and implement a dynamic, data-driven social media strategy for growth and engagement on JUNIQE’s organic social media channels. You follow trends, think outside the box, and refine, revise, and adapt our approach at the speed of change on these ever-dynamic channels
  • Collaboration: You’ll work in close collaboration with our amazing team of cross-functional designers, video editors, copywriters, content creators, and influencer marketing specialists to generate a high volume of beautiful, engaging, and on-brand content across all platforms. Our Performance Marketing team is part of your toolkit, too: you’ll align on KPIs and goals, and translate these goals into data-driven organic initiatives that will help us reach our targets. And, when it comes to community management, you’ll work in close collaboration with our Customer Service team, to engage with comments and messages, and escalate issues as needed
  • Challenge the Status Quo: Social media is a dynamic space where change is constant, and this role is for someone who thinks one step ahead of the algorithm: we aim to provide a best-in-class, engaged, and most importantly, inspiring experience for our community no matter where they find us

YOUR PROFILE

  • You’re an experienced social media strategist or marketing manager who lives and breathes all things design, art, digital culture, and, of course, social.
  • Ideally, you have a degree in marketing or communications, and have at least 2-3 years of experience in the social or brand sphere. 
  • You balance a creative mindset with strong analytical skills, understanding data and KPIs and how to build strong metrics for organic engagement, growth, and reach
  • You’re able to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • You have a great feeling for JUNIQE as a brand and trends in lifestyle, home and living, and art and design, with an eye for great photography and design that will engage our followers
  • You are brimming with ideas for creative campaigns and topics to drive engagement and growth
  • Our lingua franca around the office and on our Social channels is English, but ideally you also speak some German to be able to communicate more broadly with brand partners 
  • Extra points if you have experience in the creation of video or moving image content for social media channels, and/or experience in using paid social strategies for growth
