Your purpose at Kertos

You’re part of our newest Product Squad in Berlin which will focus on our latest research project to push the automation and intelligence of our Kertos Platform even further. As the (Senior) Software Engineer on this project, you’ll own the software engineering aspect of this project, making sure our users get to experience the developed models and functionalities right from their browsers. So, if you are looking for a role in which you’ll have a huge impact - this is it! 

What you’ll be doing here: 

• Develop Kertos as new product of its own class with privacy solutions using current technologies and frameworks 
• Engage with our secure, data privacy-oriented architecture 
• Independently innovate new functionalities of Kertos  
• Introduce your own ideas and thoughts to enhance the product and our development process 

The skills, motivation, and mentality you should bring

• You have a background in Computer Science, Informatics or similar 
• You are an experienced Software Engineer with technical knowledge of web development and software testing 
• You bring technical knowledge with at least some of the programming languages and frameworks in our tech stack:
  • Python
  • Django or comparable (e.g. Flask/FastAPI)
  • Databases, data modelling & migrations
  • Docker
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Jest

Experience in either Fullstack or Backend is great, we will support you on your own roadmap to confidently contribute to all our software's components!
