Okta’s Customer Identity Cloud (CIC) is an easy to implement, adaptable authentication and authorization platform. Basically we make everyone’s login box awesome. Our domain’s mission is to provide a simple, secure, standards-compliant and delightful authentication experience for both end users and developers. We work with NodeJS, React, Postgres/MongoDB databases and our services run on both AWS and Azure. Our technology radar continues to try, adopt and re-visit various technologies and are proponents of using right tools for the job.

As a member of the Authentication Login team at Okta CIC you will:

• Be a part of a fast paced, agile team of engineers, a product manager and designer.
• Design and develop features, APIs and fixes to handle our current and future scale.
• Help our customers have an awesome experience with our products.
• Collaborate with the support team as the last level of escalation for tickets.
• Participate on our on-call rotations for troubleshooting production issues.
• Be a strong independent contributor.
• Participate in and help improve the team’s agile process.
• Build and maintain integrations with dozens of enterprise and social identity providers.

You are a good fit for this role if you:

• Have 2+ years of software development experience.
• Have experience creating public or internal APIs.
• Have experience using NodeJS/Javascript/Typescript.
• Have experience with unit/integration/end to end/performance testing.
• Tend to deliver work incrementally to get feedback and iterate over solutions.
• Bring the right attitude to the team: ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and customer focus.
• Enjoy being part of a highly collaborative, fully-remote team.
• Have a passion for working on systems that are highly reliable, scalable and secure.

Bonus points if you:

• Have 1+ years of experience in identity and access management (IAM) domain.
• Have experience with cloud infrastructure from vendors such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Have experience contributing to open source software.
