MEET THE TEAM

The Production Engineering Organization delivers reliable services that bolster and streamline the development cycle of our new FlashBlade products and features. We collaborate with all internal engineering teams to avoid any bottlenecks in our testing and delivery processes. We are looking for software engineers with excellent communication and analytical skills who have a mix of software, systems and data science skills, are passionate about designing and building great services, and have experience with building tools, services, and automation to manage and improve our services.

FLASHBLADE ORGANIZATION

The FlashBlade Organization designs an advanced all-flash storage solution tailored for consolidating both fast file and object data.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL...

  • Utilize a data-driven approach to identify and resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with team members across different teams and time zones to design and develop high quality CI/CD processes.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the solutions to avoid bottlenecks and keep the infrastructure robust and reliable.
  • Build debug tools and analyze test failures across a multi-machine hardware/software stack within a continuous integration automation framework
  • Provide continuous support to internal engineering teams to keep delivery of their code easy and efficient.
  • Coordinate with various engineering teams to ensure that important fixes are being delivered in a timely manner
  • Make improvements to the integration tools and processes in order to make the lives of your fellow engineers easier

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 4+ years of hands on test automation/triage/testing or software engineering experience with the ability and desire to learn new technology
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build and test infrastructure (eg. Jenkins)
  • Experience with any version control system (eg. Git)
  • Experience with Python and SQL
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive

AND YOU’LL SHINE IF YOU KNOW ABOUT THESE…

  • Advanced experience with Git
  • Experience with data science and BI tools
  • Good understanding of Linux environments and scripting
  • In-depth knowledge and usage of Python
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration systems (eg. Docker).
  • Proactively propose changes to architecture of our systems and processes 
  • Ability to understand relation between CI/CD processes and related business processes
  • Experience with monitoring of testing/delivery pipelines
  • In-depth knowledge of end to end enterprise systems & products

The annual base salary range is: $113,000 – $187,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
