Come be a part of Pure’s Global Partner Marketing Organization (GPMO)! Pure Storage’s GPMO has a team that manages the marketing relationships at our Partners across the globe. 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Development Fund Manager to lead and manage our Global Market Development Fund (MDF) program leveraged by our Partners. This role will be responsible for efficiently administering the MDF program at scale, ensuring effective and compliant utilization of funds to drive partner-led demand generation across all segments of the business, across diverse markets around the world.

This candidate will have a proven track record in program management and strong cross-collaboration skills with key stakeholders from the field, finance, legal, and governance. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively across different stakeholders within the organization, as well as across geographies.

This role is critical when it comes to shaping an exceptional investment experience for Partners to make it easy and compelling for them to build pipeline for Pure Storage, and ultimately drive our mutual success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES...

  • MDF Program Strategy and Enhancement: work closely with internal stakeholders, provide regular program analysis, and recommend adjustments that maximize ROI
  • MDF Program Administration: oversee the day-to-day administration of the MDF program, including fund allocation, disbursement, and compliance monitoring; annual review of MDF Guidelines, revise as needed 
  • Budget Oversight and Compliance: accurately track MDF budget and ensure transparency and adherence to program policies and compliance standards
  • Performance Tracking and Analysis: track performance of MDF investments, and suggest improvements to maximize ROI
  • Partner Enablement: provide regular training and support to ensure alignment of partner marketing initiatives with company objectives
  • Internal Enablement: provide regular training, and establish and maintain communication and documentation updates to internal channel sales and marketing teams

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 7+ years managing Market Development Fund program for a technology leader, preferably in a global capacity; experience designing an MDF program a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget planning, allocation, and optimization to drive maximum value from allocated funds
  • Understanding of current legal and compliance standards for MDF programs
  • Ability to think strategically with excellent organizational and tactical abilities 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to enhance MDF program effectiveness
  • Proven track record of optimizing processes, gaining efficiencies, and training internal teams and partners to achieve measurable results and predictable outcomes
  • Proactive, self-motivated, innovative, collaborative problem solver
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with ability to manage multiple projects under challenging deadlines 

The annual base salary range is: $167,000 – $251,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
