We’re looking for a Sr. Onboarding Specialist to help us build the future of learning & onboarding at Pinterest. This role will be accountable for new hire & executive onboarding requiring deep subject matter expertise to create, lead, and facilitate onboarding programs at Pinterest. You’ll need end-to-end L&D experience, including identifying organizational needs, building and launching company-wide programs, facilitation, strong written and verbal communication skills, and stakeholder management.

You should have experience leading large onboarding programs, delivering global learning solutions at scale, strong facilitation experience, operational rigor, and the ability to level up when working with senior leaders.

What you’ll do:

  • Own end-to-end onboarding; ensuring new hires ramp up quickly, understand our business, and feel connected to our culture.
  • Lead Pintro, our company-wide orientation program, welcoming new hires from all of our global offices.
  • Onboard our executive team members - creating highly tailored experiences for our senior leaders in partnership with HRBPs and the Executive Recruitment team.
  • Refresh the onboarding experience with a focus on new hire engagement and time to productivity. This includes designing new content, driving connectivity with broader People team programs (I&D, Talent Management, etc.), improving operations, and introducing innovation and automation where possible.
  • Build our executive onboarding processes - working with the Executive Recruitment team to create a world-class program that is scalable and sustainable.
  • Work with functional teams (Eng, Sales, Compliance, etc.) to ensure new hires have a seamless hand off to their department and wonderful onboarding experience regardless of the team they’re on.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to drive alignment towards a broader vision for onboarding while still meeting local needs.

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive expertise in Learning & Development, Onboarding, Leadership Development, or Talent Development.
  • Proven experience building scalable, global onboarding programs for various audiences (employees, managers, senior leaders).
  • Influential at all levels, with strong stakeholder management and experience partnering with different parts of the People team and Business teams.
  • End-to-end program management skills from needs assessment, design, development, and facilitation.
  • Experience building executive onboarding programs at scale for a global organization.
