YOUR MISSION

We are looking for Senior Operations Manager who would be able to act autonomously, will define a comprehensive vision for their managed function in line with strategy set for Glovo Poland, and in alignment with other functions / areas; define north stars and inspiring paths to success.

THE JOURNEY

  • Reassure we provide best-class experience for our couriers, fleet partners and we are platform number #1 of their choice
  • Implement, standardize and execute strategy for acquisition, retention and fleet partners across all regions in Poland
  • Build long-term relationships with our fleet partners, reassure best possible on the market experience, conclude tests and experiment in one of the newest areas on the market where there are no yet best practices that are well-known
  • Be responsible for courier acquisition, courier funnel optimization, conversion, onboarding excellence, newbies quality, and retention boosting
  • Ensure our supply is balanced, operating each lever available in a controlled and data-driven way
  • Oversee and improve courier retention via segmentation. Ensure the best performers continue to deliver 
  • Define a planned churn strategy in order to always renew the fleet with the most performing couriers
  • Understand, deep-dive into the data, to understand the reasons and the levers we can act upon to improve KPIs in areas of acquisition and retention of couriers.
  • Evaluate strategic opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Understand local and regional needs, and put yourself in the skin of the Glover - understand who they are in order to execute the best possible outcome and choose properly the solution we are launching or testing.
  • Coordinate projects with other departments to reach your goals.
  • Run experiments and A/B tests.
  • Contribute towards the continuous improvement of Glover’s life-cycle through out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Have a blank page for you to create! We don’t stick to a single playbook, and we expect you to build your own as the business and market evolves

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 4+ years of experience in highly demanding positions (operations, consulting, investment banking, finance, etc.). Experience in on-demand or consulting is a plus.
  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills are a must.
  • Project Management skills are a must.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • You have amazing attention to detail, a great appetite to learn, and are driven to get your hands dirty.
  • Strong drive for continuous improvement. Problem-solving. Creative and a self-starter. Results oriented, autonomous and efficient
  • You understand and can quickly guide teams to use innovative methods to save time.
  • Strong organizational skills and delegation, ability to prioritize and multitask, work well under pressure, handle multiple issues simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Combine a day by day and tactical management with a strategic and long-term view.
  • Leadership - you can motivate your teammates. You’re great at making tough decisions in a sea of ambiguity and keeping everyone on track
  • Open to change and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills (both to the team and upstream).
  • Results-oriented, autonomous and efficient.
  • Excellent critical thinking by using a data-driven approach.
