SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

We're in search of a meticulous and highly organized Senior Project Manager to spearhead CM test process improvement, test tools development, and infrastructure sustaining projects. With a minimum of 5 years of end-to-end project management experience, you'll drive projects from ideation to closure, particularly within manufacturing test, process, digital automation (APIs, Test Framework), and infrastructure domains. Your role will be pivotal in aligning internal and external stakeholders, optimizing operational efficiencies, and shaping Pure Storage's global scalability efforts. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

  • Lead projects from inception through the Ideation Exit, navigating through ambiguity to establish clear objectives and deliverables.
  • Drive tactical planning, implementation, and successful completion of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including intake, charter, project plan, schedule, and change requests, to ensure clarity and accountability.
  • Monitor project progress closely to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify, resolve, and mitigate project issues, scope creep, and risks to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within allocated timeframes and budget constraints, leveraging effective resource management and cost-control strategies.
  • Champion the implementation of processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Test Project Management Office.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan tailored to the unique needs of internal and external stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
  • Represent the project/program in budget forecasting and expenditure management activities, ensuring financial accountability and compliance.
  • Utilize a suite of tools, including Smartsheet, MS Project, Google Suite, and JIRA, for stakeholders management, project tracking, and communication purposes, optimizing collaboration and transparency across teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years in project management roles, with a focus on leading complex projects from ideation to completion, preferably in the technology or software development industry.
  • Expertise in navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in project objectives and deliverables, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams through uncertain and dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including but not limited to Agile, Scrum, Smartsheet, MS Project, Google Suite, and JIRA, with the ability to effectively leverage these tools to optimize project outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes, while effectively managing resources and prioritizing competing demands.
  • Experience in establishing and implementing processes and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project management practices, including the Test Project Management Office.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, with a resilient and flexible approach to managing project complexities and uncertainties.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous professional development in the field of project management.

The annual base salary range is: $77,000 - $127,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
