Are you passionate about building a long term Identity and Access Management infrastructure vision for Pinterest’s growing employee workforce?  The IT Collaboration Team is looking for excited architects to drive that future roadmap forward and execute on enhancing our access, security and employee experience. 

What you’ll do:

  • Build an Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategic roadmap around services such as Okta and directory services.  
  • Develop a long term architecture and plan for an identity ecosystem that can seamlessly scale with the business.
  • Evaluate the complex relationships between our human resources information system (HRIS), identity services and access to enterprise applications, working collaboratively with Security, HR, Engineering and Business teams across the organization.
  • Create and design secure, robust, and scalable solutions to manage workforce identity, authentication, and authorization.
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate with teams to implement complex products or services.
  • Onboard and integrate internal or external products such as PAM, access catalog, self service systems, automation, orchestration, governance and compliance.
  • Assess IAM risk and form remediation plans to mitigate identified risks.
  • Support IAM and Directory Services for IT.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 5+ years of IAM Architecture experience with BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related.
  • Strong knowledge in Okta preferred but experience in related IAM products such as Ping Identity, Azure AD, SailPoint, etc are acceptable.
  • Technical proficiency in directory services such as OpenLDAP, Active Directory, or similar.
  • Proven ability to integrate IAM systems, directory services, HRIS systems, and external applications.  Ability to understand the complex interactions between various connected systems and assess potential impact when making changes.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following:  Single Sign On, Identity Federation, Enterprise directory services such as LDAP, MFA (FIDO2), device trust, and resource provisioning.
  • Strong technical skills with Okta or similar engineering, Workflow designs, Code based automation / orchestration, leveraging APIs, AuthN, AuthZ, and IAM product configuration.
  • Excellent communications and problem solving skills with the ability to articulate vision to business, technical and executive audiences.
  • Executive presence including ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Proven self starter, can independently seek out and bring together cross functional stakeholders, and align everyone on architecture and goals.
