We’re revolutionizing tech hiring by giving companies a skills-based hiring platform that allows them to effectively assess technical skills. We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive who is customer-obsessed and passionate about consulting and advising new and current customers through the buying journey. This position is Full-Time and Remote within the US.

In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping HackerRank's vision of prioritizing "skills over pedigree" in developer hiring and career growth. Your contributions will encompass optimizing customers' utilization of HackerRank in their hiring processes. Collaborating seamlessly with colleagues, you will elevate our strategic partnerships with customers.

You will be working on:
  • Maintain full functional and process knowledge of HackerRank products and services as well as market awareness and knowledge of competitive threats
  • Formulate BoB strategy (coverage, adoption, revenue, cadence) to retain and grow BoB
  • Create and execute Account Plans (inclusive of Success Plans) for all accounts
  • Formulate new business strategy (coverage, demand gen, sales execution, cadence) to drive new business in target accounts or segments
  • Effectively captain internal teams to execute BoB Strategy and Account Plans
  • Ensure adequate customer engagement to meet account plan goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with exec sponsors, champions & stakeholders
  • Create adequate pipeline to meet expansion goals
  • Retain revenue and renew customers on time
  • Structure fair commercial terms that allow both the HackerRank and the customer to grow
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts
We are looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience selling a SaaS platform
  • Proven success in selling to VP/C Level at 100K+ deal sizes
  • Extreme Ownership: 
    • Own your territory, your sales process, and your opportunities end-to-end
    • Effectively captain each opportunity with a thoughtful strategy and plan of action
    • Have the following traits: Grit, Results Oriented, Collaboration, Curious, Organized, and a Relationship Builder
  • Coachable: Open to taking guidance from across the organization beyond just their manager.  Constantly seeking additional perspectives and open to new ideas.
  • Competitive: The ideal candidate not only is driven to win, and be the top performer on the team, but also hates to lose.
  • Communicative: The ideal candidate will possess great communication skills, be able to articulate how they convey value and engage prospects throughout the organization to drive conversations and mindshare.  They will be to discuss how they uncover pain at the key persona level and discuss their ability to accurately forecast and hit their quota goals.

Under our flexible paid time off policy, you’ll decide how much time you need based on your own personal circumstances.

Current base salary range:  $132,000 to $138,000 USD.  This sales role is eligible for incentive based pay.  Annual total potential earnings, including base salary and incentive based pay, is $220,000 to $230,000, based on quota attainment. Exact salary may vary based on skills, experience, location, market ranges, and other compensation offered.  Base Salary range does not include other compensation components, commission (for sales related roles), bonuses, or benefits that you may be eligible for.  Salary may be adjusted based on business needs.
