About this role : 

We are looking for an Account Manager (SEA & IN) in Kuala Lumpur to help our Commercial team who enjoys a challenge, building relationships, strategizing market plan and negotiating deals with our partners.

Responsibilities: 
  • Manage and build relationships with our online retail partners from the SEA markets (South East Asia & India)
  • Work closely with our Editorial team to bring our customers the best content
  • Conduct market research and develop relationships with online retail partners
  • Cooperate with the Business Intelligence team to analyze market performance
  • Prepare and send monthly financial- and performance reports to our partners
  • Analyze and present ROI data using Excel, Salesforce, and/or Tableau
  • Achieve quarterly revenue and business targets
  • Prepare monthly financial and performance reports to effectively communicate the value of GSG’s products and services to our clients

Your Profile : 
  • Experiences in the Sales and/or Business Development department from a fast-growing company (2 years minimum)
  • Strong understanding of the retail, e-commerce space, media, platforms or social communities
  • Strong client/partner relationship management skills: communication, negotiation, objection handling, and closing the deal 
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Entrepreneurial experience in data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through analytical thinking
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with remote teams and thrive in a dynamic matrix organization
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment; adapt quickly to change, and have a passion for learning
  • Experience working in a Start-Up environment would be a plus (Startup/ Digital eco-system) 
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
