We are looking for a well-organized Accountant who is comfortable working with great attention to detail in a professional, international and dynamic environment covering the DACH and Benelux region from our Head Office in the heart of Frankfurt.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Administration of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger entries for our operating entities in the Region (NL, B, CH, D)
- Processing of payment transactions (Zahlungsverkehr)
- General Ledger and Subledger Account Substantiation
- Preparation of Inventory Statements (Accruals, Fixed Assets)
- Supporting role in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Preparation of monthly/ quarterly VAT reports
- Supporting contact person for tax advisors
You Offer
- A vocational qualification as financial accountant or tax clerk
- Professional experience in accounting as well as general knowledge of taxation
- Some knowledge of accounting practices and taxation in Switzerland, the Netherlands, and/or Belgium of advantage
- IT and Systems affinity (ideally some knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting software)
- Fluency in German, good working knowledge of English preferred
- A collaborative approach, organized and dynamic personality who is comfortable with pace and change as well as working across different countries
- An independent, structured and result-oriented way of working with a high affinity for numbers and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Excel and other key Microsoft Office applications
