THE ROLE
Pure Storage is looking to hire an Alliance Partner Specialist, Data Protection, Rubrik who will be responsible for developing the Rubrik business at Pure Storage in North America through program management, order and sales support, enablement training, campaign management and marketing demand generation. This new, highly visible role is an amazing and pioneering opportunity to help grow Pure’s cross-portfolio Data Protection business tied to Rubrik. Rubrik has over 6K customers, is a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader, and is known for being a pioneer in the cyber resilience industry.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive Rubrik Alliance pipeline and revenue in the Pure Storage North America Sales
- Act as a liaison between Rubrik and Pure Storage North America Sales teams
- Understand and communicate Rubrik’s “Value Prop” as it relates to Pure Storage’s offerings
- Create, develop and manage programs to include Rubrik in Pure Storage Sales activities
- Collaborate and communicate across regional channel, marketing and sales teams for planning and delivery of programs
- Develop relationships with Rubrik and Pure Storage sales teams to encourage joint opportunity collaboration
- Discover, evaluate, and recommend investment in activities which will move the pipeline and revenue contributions
- Manage Sales and Pre-Sales relationships, multiple programs, and sales activities in a high-paced environment
- Facilitate 10 joint account team interlocks per week between Pure Storage and Rubrik account teams
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Chicago office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pure Storage sales or Sales Development role
- Proven track record of campaign creation, execution and program management
- Solid understanding of Pure Storage Sales operations and product lines
- Experience working with partners and evangelising them inside Pure’s North America Sales
- Strong Salesforce knowledge and reporting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of how to work with Pure Storage Sales teams, programs and campaigns
- Ability to support all sales groups within Pure Storage
- Ability to execute on business plans related to Sales pipeline generation and bookings
- Ability to create and deliver new programs/campaigns that benefit Rubrik and Pure
- Ability to capture mindshare of Pure Storage Sales teams through awareness and enablement training
- Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
- Strong communication abilities between Pure and Rubrik team members
- Cross-team collaboration and motivational skills

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
