Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our Alliances department as an Alliance Development Specialist. This hybrid role will be responsible for Business Development and Sales Operations functions supporting our VP of Alliances Sales. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, swift operator and possess a proactive approach to building and nurturing strategic alliances.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and qualify new Alliances leads through proactive outreach, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking
  • Conduct thorough research to understand potential clients' needs, challenges, and buying behaviors.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, terms, and pricing structures to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Manage pipeline activity and track progress through CRM systems, providing regular updates to stakeholders

Sales Operations

  • Streamline and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency and scalability, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Manage and maintain CRM databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date sales records, forecasts, and reports.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Create sales presentations and collateral
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in sales, business development, or account management roles.
  • Strong communication and executive presence skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data to drive informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an Alliances or Channel team
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling) and best practices
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools and processes

The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000-105,000. Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
