Who We Are

The B2B Sales Enablement team develops and operationalizes the go-to-market strategy and operating model for Wayfair’s B2B business, Wayfair Professional. We help drive both long-term thinking about what customer experience will maximize profitable growth and shorter-term measures improving operational efficiency. The B2B Territory team is responsible for account-related operations and strategy, including book management, customer sales treatment, and ownership guidelines, and lead prioritization/routing. We do this in partnership with a sales organization of over 400 agents delivering a nine-figure annual revenue target. Wayfair Professional helps hundreds of thousands of businesses to create the perfect space for their clients, guests and employees. We serve customers in the Office, Interior Design, Contractor, Property Management, Accommodations, and other sectors, with a broad assortment across furniture, fixtures, and decor.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support the execution of B2B’s Territory function. This role is accountable for deliverables and processes such as book management, account routing rules, performance reporting, and analysis to drive recommendations. This role entails comfort working with large data sets to enable efficient execution and provide actionable insights. Strong communication is key in this role, as you will work with cross-functional partner teams in Sales, Product, and Engineering among others. 

  • Support execution of book management strategy, account routing rules, and performance analysis
  • Contribute to key strategic initiatives for the business through analysis and process ownership
  • Own operational processes related to account movement across different sales programs
  • Help strengthen foundational processes through enhanced auditing, alerting, documentation, etc.
  • Own the fact finding and resolution for Territory related issues, including handling Sales inquiries

What You’ll Need

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in sales operations or a related field
  • Analytical experience and comfort working with large data sets
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Curiosity and eagerness to have an impact on the business, especially as it relates to sales operations, customer experience, process improvement and automation among others
  • Ability to thrive in an fast-paced, evolving organization while juggling several priorities
  • Good business judgment and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Excel, SQL, Looker and Salesforce (or similar tools)
  • Bachelor’s degree

An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
