The Analyst Relations team is looking for an Analyst Relations Manager to accelerate Databricks’ position as the clear category leader in data management, AI, security, BI and other emerging markets. In this role, you will turn analyst relationships and research into strategic advantage for Databricks—shaping how the market understands our platform and informing how we build, market, and sell it. You’ll partner closely with product, marketing, and sales leaders to translate analyst insight into concrete business impact.
The impact you will have- Elevate Databricks’ positioning with firms like Gartner, Forrester, IDC and others, reflected in stronger narrative alignment, increased positive mentions, and improved perception across key evaluations and research notes over 12–24 months.
- Orchestrate successful participation in major analyst evaluations (e.g., MQs, Waves, MarketScapes, and equivalent), ensuring Databricks shows up with compelling proof points, customer evidence, and differentiated messaging that advance our leadership across various categories.
- Grow a community of influential analyst advocates who proactively seek Databricks input, feature our experts and customers, and invite us to speak at key industry and firm-hosted events.
- Turn analyst insight into action by synthesizing research and feedback into clear recommendations that shape product roadmap decisions, messaging and positioning, and field plays for target segments and use cases.
- Increase the business impact of analyst content by enabling sales, marketing, and executive teams to effectively use analyst reports, quotes, and insights in campaigns, sales conversations, and executive narratives.
- Build a predictable, high-functioning AR program with clear calendars, SLAs, and internal processes for handling inquiries, briefings, evaluations, and internal requests, improving responsiveness and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Expand Databricks’ reach beyond core analysts by identifying and activating new voices (emerging analysts, boutiques, influencers) that amplify our story across data, AI, security, and adjacent markets.
- 3–5 years of experience in analyst relations, public relations, or communications for a high-growth B2B technology company.
- Meaningful experience engaging with major analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC or similar), ideally around data, analytics, AI/ML, or cloud platforms.
- Proven track record running end-to-end analyst programs—from briefings and inquiries to major evaluations and advisory sessions—with measurable impact on perception or coverage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for analysts and senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership and technical subject matter experts, preparing them for high-stakes analyst interactions and driving alignment on strategy, messaging, and proof points.
- Strong program and project management skills, with a history of juggling multiple high-detail, deadline-driven workstreams while maintaining quality and follow-through.
- High collaboration and stakeholder management capability, comfortable operating in a small, agile team and influencing cross-functional partners across product, marketing, and sales.
- Deep curiosity about products, customers, and the competitive landscape, with the ability to quickly absorb new information, connect dots, and turn it into impactful AR strategies and recommendations.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to manage Databricks’ presence at analyst conferences, host in-person meetings, and represent the company at key AR community events.

- Existing relationships with industry analysts from the above mentioned markets
- Experience with high-growth cloud, big data, data analytics, data warehouse, machine learning, BI, or AI technologies
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
