Analytics Lead, Electric Vehicles Policy
At Lyft, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. To create the best ride for all, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization where all team members are recognized for what they bring.
The Electric Vehicles team at Lyft is responsible for growing EV rides and preparing Lyft for the low-carbon future. We do this by building products that make it easier for drivers to use an EV for rideshare, helping riders make greener choices, and partnering with policymakers to solve some of the biggest barriers to widespread EV adoption. Our work is high impact and high visibility as we both grow EV adoption internally and shape the transition to EVs in the world around us.
We are looking for an Analytics Lead who will become an expert on Lyft’s rideshare, emissions and EV adoption data to shape external conversations on facilitating smart policy for EV growth. You will draw insights which will shape Lyft’s advocacy on external EV adoption programs and regulations, and will lead external reporting efforts on EV progress in cities and states across the country as well as our carbon accounting efforts. You will partner with both the Electric Vehicles team and the Public Policy team at Lyft and meet directly with policymakers where applicable.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical problem solving skills, effective communication skills, extraordinary attention to detail, and proactively takes ownership of their workstreams. Any past experience with public policy or Electric Vehicles is a plus!
