The first pitstop in our journey is to replace physical card readers & legacy-checkouts with a lightning-fast experience.

Job Description

You will, in close collaboration with our Head of Design, develop and build our app in Flutter and tie everything together with our next-generation products and features. Your work will in a matter of hours hit the app stores and affect the whole customer base. You’ll be the glue that ties our products together with our app. As part of our app team and by working across teams; the fruit of your labors will make a real difference for our merchants and end users.

What You'll Do

• App Development 🤷🏼‍♀️
• Become our in-house Flutter expert
• Own and develop the Zaver app
• Build and maintain the endpoints required to connect the app to our products
• Collaborate across Zaver’s organization working on large- and small-scale projects

You will work in close collaboration with amazing people, use new technology and break new ground in the payments space by shipping products far better than anything else in the market.

Who you are

You are looking for an adventure and feel right at home in a fast paced organization with a minimum of hierarchy and overhead. You track down problems and seek out solutions wherever they might be. You strive to be the best you can be in your domain and understand the demands of the business and the end user. You take ownership of the features you deliver in order to provide the very best experience to the app user.

You have built mobile apps before and are well versed in the inherent challenges of creating a performant, good looking app all the while keeping the code clean and maintainable. You have an eye for design and animations - all in the service of creating a kick-ass user experience. You feel confident that your apps work well even over bad mobile connections and on exotic (Android…) devices - because you designed it that way, and also tested it rigorously.

Perhaps you have come across Flutter already, or you are yearning to add it to your professional skill set. For us it is more important that you have the right attitude and spirit rather than specific experiences. We are looking for go-getters who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

If you have experience in the following areas it is considered a bonus:

• Flutter
• Mobile app development (iOS and/or Android)
• Java
• Spring Boot
