As the Asset Protection Program Manager, you will be an integral part of a dynamic Physical Retail Asset Protection team, unified by a mission to deliver world-class support to our valued partners. This role is field based and will report directly to the Senior Manager of Asset Protection Strategy, and your primary responsibility will be to serve as a trusted advisor, contributing your insights and expertise to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities through data analytics from current data and future platforms you will create through field and stakeholder collaboration.In addition, you will ensure the highest standards of safety and security for Wayfair associates and customers on a daily basis and play a pivotal role in providing support to all relevant stakeholders in the event of emergencies, showcasing your ability to handle critical situations with professionalism and efficacy.

What You’ll Do 

  • Maintain roadmaps for operational and business initiatives while providing execution support. 
  • Enhance processes while driving change in customer and associate experiences while simultaneously fostering the development of new capabilities.
  • Monitor the achievement of milestones related to security, safety, and risk within new store construction projects.
  • Serve as the voice of Physical Retail Asset Protection, collaborating with the broader Global Safety & Security team, Physical Retail and other key STOs as needed.
  •  Manage and handle sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Work with store and corporate leadership teams to resolve safety, inventory, and physical security related issues.
  • Work with other data analyst and reporting teams to develop reporting for both store and field leadership teams as it relates to safety, risk, inventory accuracy, and shrink. 
  •  Responsible for following all company procedures, maintaining acceptable attendance, and adhering to all grooming and customer service standards.

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of experience in retail asset protection or security (Required)
  • Ability to travel domestically, up to 75% of the time required (required)
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in GBQ, Looker and MS Office (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Inventory management, Data analytics, and implementing necessary financial controls (Required)
  • Knowledge of access control systems and CCTV systems is preferred
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of safety and security concepts, best practices, policies, programs, and procedures. Preferably in a retail environment. (Required) 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities, strong organizational and time management skills (Required)
  • Flexibility to support multiple buildings across multiple shifts that are dynamic and have changing business needs (Required)
  • Strong reputation for honesty, integrity, and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality (Required)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and persuasion skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences and stakeholder groups, including executive level management. (Required)
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with demonstrated experience in hypothesis-driven learning and turning data into actionable insights. (Required)
  • Sound business skills such as strategic planning, and good decision-making ability. (Preferred)
