Assistant Finance Manager
Role summary - As a Assistant Finance Manager, you will report to Senior Finance Manager, China. you will have chance to work closely with regionally and globally finance team and supporting finance projects.
Location: Guangzhou, ChinaHybrid Full-time
What you’ll do
- Support the Senior Finance Manager in overseeing accounting ledgers to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions, and the prompt submission of statutory forms and periodic reports in compliance with local accounting and tax regulations
- Maintain and manage the transfer of accounting ledgers from local accounting software to the group accounting system
- Lead period-end closing activities, including the preparation of reporting packages with analysis of balance fluctuations in relation to business operations, and perform intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure smooth and accurate processing of vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Oversee the payroll process in collaboration with the payroll team
- Assist in liaising with regulatory authorities regarding statutory financial reporting, taxation, and related matters
- Support audits of local annual financial statements, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely completion
- Execute internal control over financial reporting activities and maintain appropriate documentation
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting field and an active qualified professional accountant (China CPA, ACCA, Intermediate Accounting Professional Title or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1-3 years as assistant finance and /or accounting manager in the payment industry
- Deep proficiency in China Accounting Standards and corporate tax regulations
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of US GAAP would be a significant advantage
- Experience in a multinational fast growing tech organization is an advantage
